Sean "Born" Osborn and Ben "Beanstalk" Bower both grew up around music as their fathers played in bands. Sean's father Don Osborn toured nationally and has played in many bands in the local music scene for over 40 years. Ben's father Richard Bower was their high school music teacher as well as a longtime member of a popular local group "The Vicksburg Quartet�". Born and the Beanstalk have been playing together since 2001. Starting out they would often open for and play set breaks for Mr. Osborn's bands. It paid off as gigs of their own started coming in, and soon they were playing regular shows throughout the Central Pa area. Yada, yada, yada.... Fast Forward 12 years�.... Their song list is fast approaching 300 songs of all genres, allowing them to entertain crowds of all ages and musical interests. They have played most of the popular local Pennsylvania venues and have recently expanded into West Virgina and Maryland. They have played alongside or opened for several national acts such as The Badlees and Tom Watt, and competed in, and won, a singer/songwriter contest in West Virginia on the strength of their originals. �"Making music is what we love and what enjoy doing.
