Shades of June began in the fall of 2002, forming from the ashes of a Johnstown-based group named Shadow 5. Today, the band features the powerful and energetic combination of Ryan Krinjeck on guitar and lead vocal, Alex Davis on guitar and backing vocal, Chris "Stewie" Myer on the bass, and newest member Jesse August on the drums.
