Hello Everyone,

Here is the recap of the May 11 edition of Q94's weekly local music program, "The Backyard Rocker," which airs every Sunday night from 8 to 10 PM on WBXQ 94.3.

What a fun show! Thanks to our guests this week, Megan and Seth from the Punxsutawney-based rock/pop band JustMegan (www.justmegan.net), for an enjoyable two hours! We learned the story of JustMegan to date, and heard tracks from the group’s latest CD, I Get What I Want; and one lucky listener won a JustMegan prize pack featuring both I Get What I Want and the group’s first album, Blue Avenue! Megan and Seth also brought acoustic guitars and performed several songs on the air, including two songs from the CD and two remakes! We also qualified two lucky listeners to win Q94’s Harley-Davidson motorcycle on June 14; debuted new songs from Sarah Fleck & the Palpitations, Herbie, Larry Nath and Kinsey; updated Local Music News, and reviewed D.C. & Co’s new live CD, Alive, in “The Professor’s CD Corner.” (The review can be read in the “Backyard Rocker” section of the message board area on Q94’s website, www.wbxq.com.)

Here is this week’s playlist:
