Here is the recap of the August 3 edition of Q94's weekly local music program, "The Backyard Rocker," which airs every Sunday night from 8 to 10 PM on WBXQ 94.3.
Thanks to our guests this week, Cambria County’s Nitekast (www.nitekast.com), for an interesting, insightful and rocking two hours! The new cast of Nitekast updated us on their latest happenings, and previewed songs from their forthcoming new CD, The Beginning and the End, to be released later this month. We also checked out new songs from Charles Havira and The Snoods, and reviewed Herbie’s new live CD, Left of Center, in “The Professor’s CD Corner.” (The review can be read in the “Backyard Rocker” section of the message board area on Q94’s website, www.wbxq.com.)

We’ll also hear music from other area bands and artists, and review another new local/regional CD in “The Professor’s CD Corner.” Don Hughes returns to the “Backyard Rocker,” next Sunday night!

Check out "The Underground" as it features different unsigned local and regional bands every week; and watch for "Backyard Rocker" updates on the show each week as well! Their new television season is under way!
