Hello Everyone,

Here is the recap of the September 7 edition of Q94's weekly local music program, "The Backyard Rocker," which airs every Sunday night from 8 to 10 PM on WBXQ 94.3.

This was definitely one for the highlight reel! Big thanks to our guests this week, Pittsburgh/Indiana-based singer, songwriter and harmonica player Larry Nath (www.myspace.com/larrynath) and Pittsburgh blues/jazz guitar great Jimmy Adler (www.jimmyadler.com) for an excellent two hours! We met Larry and Jimmy, and discussed Larry’s career and music, heard tunes from his first solo CD Live It! (as well as a track from Jimmy’s new CD Swing It Around), and gave away several copies to lucky listeners! Larry and Jimmy also brought instruments and played four songs live on the air! We also debuted new tunes from Ryan Matthew, The Marauders and Bushmaster, and reviewed The Jason Martinko Revue’s new CD, Damaged Goods, in “the Professor’s CD Corner.” (The review can be read in the “Backyard Rocker” section of the message board area on Q94’s website, www.wbxq.com.)

Here is this week’s playlist:

ZUPE & NICHOLS – “Rib Joint”
LARRY NATH – “Fool That I Am”
