Hello Everyone,
Here is the recap of the December 14 edition of Q94's weekly local music program, "The Backyard Rocker," which airs every Sunday night from 8 to 10 PM on WBRX 94.3 and WBXQ 94.7.
Thanks to Fat Vinny & the Wiseguys for making their annual visit to the program another interesting and entertaining one. We met the newest Wiseguy, drummer Jeff Van Clief; and we were updated on the latest Wiseguy happenings, including a progress report on a third album (possibly by this time next year). We heard various songs from the group, including two new songs the band contributed to the "Rocksbury: Musicians for Kids" benefit CD (proceeds benefit Dylan's Heart Fund; the CD can be purchased at the Q94 offices, or visit the website www.cfalleghenies.org). We also heard new music from Townhall, D.C. & Co. and Emily's Toybox.

This coming Sunday, Dec. 21, it's the annual "Backyard Rocker" Christmas Holiday Special, featuring two hours of holiday music originating from the local area and region! We will hear holiday standards and original holiday tunes from local and regional names such as the Poptart Monkeys, Emily's Toybox, Fat Vinny & the Wiseguys, Halestorm, Roadkill, Cloud Party, Martini Brothers and much more! Break out the eggnog and rest by the fireplace, as the "Backyard Rocker" Christmas Holiday Special puts you into the holiday mood this Sunday night!
