Do a search under the completed items in eBay for "Agile 8 string". This Agile Guitars company makes some fairly nice looking guitars. I can't vouch for the sound and build quality, but they're a bit cheaper than Ibanez and Schecters' 8 strings. (Of course, the EMG 808 active pickups will sound much better!)
But I've seen these Agile gutiars in nice finishes like natural & trans red, maple or rosewood boards, and dual or bridge humbucker versions.
If you're really looking to drop a few coins, I'd love to see somebody with a Conklin custom shop axe!!!
Hope this helps! _________________ .

1499$ for the 8 string. Was down there tonight. I still think that thing looks like an RG body with a 2X4 for a neck. HAHA |
