I would suggest that any bands should send a PM to ESP Music if you are interested in playing. Raymond is the main man behind this event, and he does not know all the local bands. Let him know a little about your band when you PM him.
BTW, Raymond is the person who started and ran the Hoedowns that used to be at Lincoln Caverns campground and other sites.
If you want to sell some musical equipment or sell or trade anything, this would be a good place to set up a little vender's booth. _________________ My first rule: I never believe anything the government tells me. George Carlin |

I know the Hurricanes played there a few years ago, I was there. I think Fat Vinny and the Wiseguys also played there that night. The Oriental is a great big ole historic building, and next week, many more local bands will get a chance to play there. _________________ My first rule: I never believe anything the government tells me. Can get your tickets at Pelly's tonight. Before the Hurricanes play, there will be an open jam from 6 to 8, and any musician playing at Everybody Fest is more than welcome to come on out and play some. We are going to have a little PA set up.
Actually, anybody is invited to jam. _________________ My first rule: I never believe anything the government tells me. George Carlin |

undercoverhippiejoe,
thanks for keepin this thread alive and well....as the Zep tributers approach the final tune up, I would like to give a shout out to an excellent conglomeration of local and extremely talented musicians that I've had the pleasure to work with on obscure Zep favs like "The Lemon Song", "Ten Years Gone", "No Quarter", "In the Light", and "Ramble On" to name a few:
To my bro-in-law Jason Feathers and Raymond "The Boss" Springsteel, thanks for inviting me to sit in on such an ambitious jam session and thanks for your dedication and leadership!
To the Mama Corn alumni: Jeremy Nelson, Kelly Montgomery, and Brett Fanelli, you guys rock in the most versatile ways. I'm looking forward to the possibility of a once-a-month gig with you cats....let's brush up on some Rush "2112"while we're at it....
To Nate Woods and Randy "Bonzo triplets" Servello, here's to duelling thunder and "Moby Dick".....welcome back to Central PA, Randy...."it's been a long lonely lonely lonely lonely lonely time!"
To "Nut" Holes and Dave at Ceglar's studios/baitshop, lookin forward to your contributions on the git-fiddle as well as Mr. G on the bagpipes!
Finally, to my niece/student Aislinn Feathers, can't wait to "see your feathers preen.....oh darlin'...."
Oh yeah, see you all in Gallitzin Saturday night round about 8:30ish
btw, whitedevilone, it's not too late to wail along on multiple tunes....hope to see ya there Scott!

On a serious note, the Led Zeppelin Tribute Band will kick some major ass!!!!
I have been at almost all the practices, and these guys are working verrry hard to get these complicated Zepp tunes down correctly (or as correctly as possible without 13 guitar tracks on a single song, as Page was wont to do).
On Sunday is another treat. Felix told me that the guitarist extraordinaire from Johnstown , Mark Middleton will bend a G string along with the Hurricanes on Sunday. _________________ My first rule: I never believe anything the government tells me. George Carlin |

+1
I also predict there will be dancing and great rejoicing!
(Also, I bought strings for my son's guitar yesterday; hoping we will find a kind Soul to put them on his guitar/teach him how to do so. ) _________________ Jesus Is a Hippie.

The Led Zeppelin tribute on Saturday night was INCREDIBLE! Hats off to all 14 of the musicians involved: Jason Feathers, Jeremy Nelson, Randy Servello, Nate Woods, Kelly Montgomery, Brett Fanelli, Todd Holes, Dave Odelle, Shawn Gority, Dwane Edmiston, John Stevens, Steve Oswalt, Ray Springsteel, and Jason's 15-year-old daughter Aislynn Feathers. This performance rocked my world enough that I had to write another Altoona Mirror blog about it:

Gotta agree Jim-those guys did a FANTASTIC job,and as always Mr. Feathers showed what he can do on the guitar. In my book he is one of the area's top guitar players. Overall Everybody Fest. was alot of fun and a big thanks go out to the ones that set it all up,I know undercoverjoe and Ray had a big part of that. We(NailDriver) figured we'd go over like a "Led" ballon, being a little more on the harder side of it all, but most everyone seemed to dig what we were about-we even gained a few new fans from York,Pa. that were up visiting family and decided to come over-pretty cool!! We hope to be a part of it next year!! _________________ http://www.myspace.com/musicnaildriver
