I was thinking of getting a steinberger synapse baritone with the built in capo and piezo bridge pickups.

I did some checking and people complained that the quality wasn't as good now that Gibson took over.
Another complaint was the very thick strings that are hard to find. I suppose that really can't be helped, after all its a baritone, but I really don't like the feel of Steinberger double-ball strings. There's something inflexible and rigid about them.
Another strange thing is that the fret markers are set up for the key of D not the key of E. Why they did that I'll never know. _________________ ...Oh, the freedom of the day that yielded to no rule or time... |
