So went to the music Emporium altoona to buy some stuff...

I tried the Peavey amp 6505 100 wats and i just couldn't enjoy the Sound,So the guy put me playing on a Fender Mustang IV v2 150 wats and i Loved the tone and everything about it

ended up Buying the Fender and i still can't quite conceive why the fender sounded so much better to me....

i was a big fan of Peavey till this day....

This is why it's always a good thing to let your ears and practical goals dictate preferences rather than branding or what anybody else is playing.

Ive Played the Fender Mustang IV for a couple years now..

When I was shopping for an amp of that type

I sat myself in front of 5 other amps of the same type (Processing style) along with the Mustang...all lined up...Peavey, VOX, Marshall, Black Star, Line 6, Fender

Surprisingly to me as well...little by little I picked away at all these amps and turned off the ones I didn't like...Next thing I know The Mustang was blowing them all away.

The Clean channels are second to none..the only thing that I see that beats the Distortion is of course Mesa Boogie...and honestly..the Mesa was a little out of my ball park for price..(That and I don't just play Distortion sounds) Ill never talk down to a Mesa..but that was not what I was in the market for..

The Mustang is solid..Tried and tested (To me lol)

Along with the 4 button foot switch its all the pedal I need
I keep My wireless and a Hum Debugger in the back cavity at all times.

Hell of an amp Great choice.

PS The Fender Fuse Forums have a lot of really great premade patches too...I found some Killer EVH sound, Joe Bonamasa sound...and bunches more...Still on the hunt for a solid Mandolin patch though....

Fender sneaks some really cool and innovative things into their lineup. I have the wee little Mustang Mini in my office and it's incredible how many features are crammed into it. It may well have the same brains as the full-size amps.

I need to spend more time messing with the Fuse software, but have you guys tried to pull a Vox AC-30 type of sound from it? It does a good job with Marshall tones; I'd be surprised if it didn't have the Vox chime lurking in there too.

its all about tryin out the amps. i had to buy a new amp a few months ago. i was goin from a mesa tone to something a lil less expensive. i tried out several amps, some expensive high end fenders and none of them appealed to me. i looked at the supersonic several times and thought - no way! but once i plugged in my guitar - it just happened. the amp i was refusing to try was the one i bought.
