The Questionable Methods are a four piece funk/soul/jam band fusion, formed in Bedford, Pa. Drawing influences from bands such as Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, The Grateful Dead, and The Red Hot Chili Peppers, they deliver a mixture of styles and genres, melted into their own individual sound, which sets them apart from anything else. With Andy Melusky on drums and Buddy Reilly on bass, the rythm section is fueled by Buddy's slap and pop bass lines and highly improvised style, along with Andy's technical percussion and out of this world drum fills. Corey Mackereth's swirling vortex-like guitar solos and unique playing style never ceases to impress and amaze. And the smooth vocal melodies of Doug Robinson accompanied by his soulful rythm guitar sound, and nack for lyricism, wraps it all into a perfectly balanced union of musical harmony. Their genre crossing style and desire to bridge the gap between different genres may be questionable, and their methods may be mysterious, but the result is a unique mixture of sounds never before experienced, which we call, The Questionable Methods.
