R2b2 R2B2 covers music from the 80's thru 2018. Rock'n'Roll and Funk. Every song is mainstream, danceable, and easily recognizable. Since its inception in April 2010 R2B2 has been well received at all the venues they have played at. We strive to give our audiences the best that we can without using gimmicks like autotune, pre-recorded loops, etc. all our music is LIVE and we play all the instruments and percussion! Member Credentials: Mary Vee - has been playing piano since before she could write her name. With a Masters degree in Music Education, she is currently a music teacher in the Hollidaysburg Area School District. From the Altoona Symphony Orchestra, and the pits of many musical theatre productions, to oldies, country,and rock & roll bands. Mary has been seen performing in many different genres around the area. "Music is not what I do, it's who I am." Rick - plays guitar and sings and has done those things for a really long time! Past musical adventures have included Wild Cherry,popular area bands like Xeno, MX, Two Old Men, and US Sound Theatre. Recently he has been performing with Ricky Lee and the Mustangs, the British Invasion Again, and has been pitted in many musical theater productions. Ric E. See... is an native of Altoona PA . Piano started the musical journey at age five. Drums were an interest at eleven. Guitar and bass took over at sixteen. Guitar became a lifelong obsession. College music studies were complimented with guitar and voice lessons. That resume and local band experience culminated in being offered a position with Larry Alltop and The Exciters from Boston. The result was a three year international tour. The end of that tour brought a move to Boston; writing, recording, and playing all original compositions. Label and radio attention focused into opening for headline bands. Ric is currently teaching privately and has written a unique guitar teaching method which has been published. He recently started teaching music at Penn State Altoona. Beau ... Started playing area bars & clubs in 1968 with The Untouchables. Over the years he has kept time for some of the best muscians in the area. In the 70's & 80's he was the drummer for some of the most popular bands (FM and Xeno) in central Pa. He semi-retired in the 90's. He has recently played drums for The British Invasion and Ricky Lee & The Mustangs and is currently the drummer for R2B2.
