Need help picking a pedal board

Not sure if this is the place to ask this question, but I need help picking out a good pedal board. I use up to 3 boss pedals, a Wah, and a volume pedal, but have a few more pedals if I had the space. What do you all recommend? Price is something to consider -- looking for the best value for what I ...

If the price is an issue, I'd be willing to hear offers. I'm finding that Craigslist is full of scammers who must think sellers on there are idiots.

Takamine Acoustic-Electric EG540SC (with case)

Looking for $400 but would entertain a reasonable offer close to that. Guitar plays great -- I've used it for a few years but graduated to a nice Taylor. It has a built in tuner also, and the very sturdy (like new) case is included. Craigslist ad with images: http://altoona.craigslist.org/msg/487075...

It has a quarter power switch that is really nice for playing in smaller places or rehearsing. Great sound you'd expect from a ...

still need bass player

We still need a bass player... but based on the above threads, so do a lot of people. 90s rock/acoustic rock feel with the band... not metal or country. Anyone interested?

bass player needed

The Killer Boots (Matt Wagner, Joe Scott, Manny Barbazzeni) continues our search for a quality bass player. We play everything from Rage to Dave Matthews Band to Taio Cruz to some classic rock tunes. We aren't metal, country, or 80s rock based, but a couple of each might be in our setlist. We are ec...

The Killer Boots seeks bass player

The Killer Boots needs a replacement for our long time bass player. We are a cover band that plays regionally for now, but keep options open for expansion. The bass player needs to be skilled with their instrument and preferrably between 21 and 35 years old. We like to have fun and keep things light...

Guitarist looking for a new band

I'm looking for a new band to start or join. I've played in two semi-successful regional bands, the latest The Killer Boots which seems to be drawing to a close at the moment. I can play lead guitar and sing harmonies. For studio purposes (and live if necessary) I can play keys also. I have all pro ...

Looking for good photographer in the area

The subject line pretty much says it all. My band is looking to take some band pictures for distribution in our press kit. Creativity in setting up the shots is definitely a plus. Let me know if you or someone you know can help us out with this.

Matt Wagner Band now "The Killer Boots"

Hello Rockpage - My band, The Matt Wagner Band, has finally decided on a more permanent name - The Killer Boots... a reference to the Dumb and Dumber quote "Killer Boots, Man" and a few inside jokes. We've been playing out in the area (State College and Altoona) for the past couple months ...

great show

Rush puts on an amazing show, especially the theatrics of the light and sound. The new tunes sound pretty good from what I heard on their website the other day. My drummer has been jonesing to go to this show... and I was going to go with him.. but damn if it doesn't turn out to be on my first weddi...

love jazz

I've been into jazz since I was little... no help from my parents on that one though. My dad was a motown guy and my mom liked anything cheesy. The first vinyl I ever bought was Dave Brubeck's Take Five - Blue Ronda a la Turke and the song Take Five are just amazing in their complexities. I'm a rock...

I generally don't reply but today, I just feel like it. I don't like American Idol all that much, but hey let's face it, it keeps kids interested in music (and yes, it is music... when else will a kid be exposed to classics by Elvis or Cash or Stevie Wonder). As a teacher, I see how schools are gett...

I also went to the Dylan show. I'll admit it - before the show, I wasn't a Dylan fan. I could name a handful of songs I liked, but never really got into his music overall. I went because a) my wife told me to, b) my brother-in-law wanted me to go, and c) at least I was going to see a rock icon/legen...
