Im thinking that i read some articles that said this guy was an influence on John Bonham! He was also the "Mr. Clean (bald)" rock drummer before Chris Slade of AC/DC. RIP.

I believe that was in 2004? I was there. One Less Tear, BOC, and Paul Rogers! Definitely a great time, all bands were great!

Blue Oyster Cult 40 Years

BOC is celebrating 40 years since their 1st album this year. Any other BOC fans out there? I think they are one of the most influential hard rock bands of the 70's and 80's and slightly under rated.

Some pretty corny songs on that list. For the most part Rolling Stone lists are pretty lousy IMO. Love Nirvana, but they listed Cobain as the 12th greatest guitarist of all time. I can't quite see that one.

Seriously though, have you seen the half-time show entertainment the last few years? With the exception of perhaps--The Stones--they ALL sucked ass!!!! Why not just go back to bands with majorettes? Less wardrobe malfunctions, and probably a lot more talent!!! Tom Petty and The Hearbreakers did the...

So much so that I am not even sure if your comment is supposed to be serious... Yep, it was serious. I like Joan Jett too, but unless she is/was a bigger deal than I realize, I can't see how she and her Blackhearts get a nomination over some of those massively huge/influential bands. But opinions a...

Nicko rules! However, I think Clive Burr deserves a lot more credit. Other greats imo: Vinnie Paul, Dave Lombardo, Danny Carey, Lars, Mike Bordin, ect ect.....It's hard for me to name only one.
