I went to a benefit in Texas once that was basically an open jam. They had 3 bands commit to coming and it was one heck of a free for all. Great music, and some really unexpected mixes of styles.

I talked this over with my wife to see what she thought. As im tied to her mood for dancing. While she didnt give any specifics as to what really gets her moving, she did allude to what keeps her ass firmly in a seat, anything skynrd our southern rock, modern versions of songs, like the ataris redoi...

I wonder if a rockpage Facebook page or group could help drive musicians here. I know quite a few who had never heard about this site until i told them.

I talked about this recently with a few friends of mine. When i was in the service in texas, there were quite a few places musicians could hang out and just be creative. It only cost a few bucks to use the house pa, had some smaller rooms for light jamming, guys would offer lessons of every sort the...

Ive used it quite a bit to decide whether ill but a son or entire album. Bought the entire Megadeth, Shinedown, and various other full albums that way. Others it ,made...

I went to see a band once in atlantic city that had this solid backdrop, it looked (just guessing i never got to inspect it) like those 4x8 sheets of blue foam insulation panels. They had these little wooden feet that went at the union between the two. Very cool, all in all it was about 32 ft wide a...
