The extended range instruments are cool, but I think a few of us should take the back-to-basics approach and build a couple of cardboard box standups with two strings (and a special three-string for Paul). No fretboards as wide as a mud and snow tire or 17 string customs, just basic string vibration on wood or wood-like substances!
