Wing Off's at Lakemont?
Wing Off's at Lakemont?
I noticed on Lakemont Park's website that they are listing the Wing-Off's as happening there this year, Thursdays from July 10 through August 14. After rains and PLCB shenanigans disrupted and hurt attendance at last year's Wing-Off's, it was up in the air over whether or not Lakemont would continue to host them this summer.
Is anybody officially booked to play at this year's Wing-Off's? I just want to verify if Lakemont is indeed going ahead with them this year, or just listed them on the website per their usual event listings every year.

Wing Off
Actually I think Mama Corn would probably be a refreshing change for thesongsmith wrote:You guys think Mama Corn would go over at a Wing-Off? Probably not, I think. Too bad, it'd be a blast.----->JMS
Wing Off, And I belive more people would be receptive to your music than you think. Hey, It's kinda like my Mama used to say, "How do you know you don't like it if you don't try it?"

as for bands I have it on good authority that it'll be the usual suspects..
I remember when Ten Sent Wings used to play there.
Hurricanes,Half Tempted, The Marauders all play there too.
Other than that it's pretty lame.
There was this one Country band that was really good though.
