If your church was being led by one of the actual pedophiles, I would hope and pray you and the rest of the congregation would reconsider where and from whom you're getting the good word, Bill. There're more than one Catholic church in the area, right?

I see. So you don't know what McClellan is saying. I guess not, it won't be on FOX.

4000 dead because of Bush lies is OK. Clinton lies about sex. Impeach him.
I hate when peole start talking about the 4000 military that died in this war. Check out the following web site - some very interesting numbers there.

http://www.usawakeup.org/militarydeaths.htm

And, I don't like to hear about anyone in the military getting killed, but a fact of life is that it does happen - and not just in war time.

Why is it that so many liberals are so quick to throw out the number 4,000 for the amount of soldiers that have died in this war but don't seem to care about the 46 million inocent unborn babies that have been MURDERED since Roe vs. Wade???? People in glass houses.......

P.s. I'm against the Iraq war and I'm pro-life...oh wait, we can only think it simple dichotomies nowadays, because then it makes it easier to us to bash one another (as Nightcrawler Steve has been pointing out).

It's a strawman. You brought up a point that was not related to the original argument and then argued against it rather than addressing the original point.

Well, the original point of this thread had nothing to do with the 4,000 soldiers either. Did it?

And anyway, what the hell is a strawman???

P.s.

Tom, sorry about snapping at you. I've been jumpy the last two days. But my point is this:

I do agree that being against the war and being supportive of abortion is hypocritical, but your premise is based on a fallacy (i.e., that if you are against the war, then you must be for abortion). It goes back to painting everyone with a broad stroke of the brush. I've turned off the propaganda machine (i.e., the punditry industry) and I quit thinking in these neat little categories. I find that people's beliefs just aren't that clear cut.

I can understand where you are coming from, but as a rule, liberals are all for abortion.

Also, the mention of the 4,000 has nothing to do with the original post at all. But, there was the old comparison about Clinton and Bush lying and how many died because of Bush. But nobody seems to remember when Clinton vetoed the ban on Partial Birth Abortion - how many innocent (and viable) babies were put to death because of that veto??

And, Paul, you don't have to apologize to me for anything dude - you know that!!! We can slam each other all day long and I'll still love ya!!!

Hey man, it's no longer 1980. The term "liberal" no longer scares people. Ronald Reagan died. He's more than likely in Hell playing poker with the Ayatollah, Hitler, Stalin, Eric Harris, and Dylan Klebold.

don't abide by him. more than likely he wouldn't want to abide by you either.

think of it this way. "Liberal" is a derivative of the term "Liberate" which means "Free". In turn: Liberal = Free Thinker.

My God, what a crime that would be...
Every time I hear someone use the term liberal like its some kind of scarlet letter I just have to laugh.

At them.

I think it's funny everytime someone uses the term "liberal" in a derative manner, because what they are referring to is actually a socialist. In political ideology, there's a difference between liberal and socalist, with liberal being what we technically refer to as a libertarian.

Of course, Gallowglass will come in and accuse me of being 1800s political science. ;)

Pro-Life?..Good question.
What about that ? Hunting animals?
Pro - Lifers bomb abortion clinics and people get hurt or die.
They are true Animals for doing that.
Your answer is.....HUNT PRO-LIFERS...and Eat them.
We all learn together Young Grasshopper....and eat meat.
We could eat the abortions...but, GROSS.
It only hurts when I pee.
