I'd finally have to say as a local resident i'm beginning to feel a little uncomfortable living out in the middle of no where anymore. Seems like all the stuff you hear about happening in the bigger cities and towns are now starting to hit closer to home more and more each day. Definately a shame..

I'm NOT condoning what happened at all but...things like this will make people put their guards up. At least for a while.

Yeah thats messed up. I actually was at th Pub a week or so ago sitting next to that guy and heard his wife and him split up and was having problems. He was pretty drunk and she called the cops saying he was drinking there all day. The cops sat across the street waiting for him to drive. The bartender called to get him a ride home.
I feel bad for the kids, I believe there are 4 of them...Totally sad.

It's just shocking to think of something like that happening so close to home but also at the same time makes you stop and tell yourself not to take life for gtranted either because you never know what could happen at any given time even around here.

I feel bad for the families....and anyone on here who may be related to either of those two. by the sounds of it by the defense attorney, hes most likely getting justice served to him by getting the death penalty according to Altoona Mirror and WJAC. I've dealt with problems like this with my girlfriend in whom i'm currently talking to again which is dumb on my behalf I know cause of her doing it to me twice and suspecting it's happening again although we're only "talking". but no matter how much I care for her or anyone else I'm not going to take anyones life over it. Guess that's why it sometimes is hard to believe?

Was at the press conference yesterday. Why can't people just break up? I know there are a lot of good people in the world, it's just a shame that incidents like this tend to reflect so badly on society as a whole.

Very sad. Especially for those little ones.

People like that shouldn't even have a trial. Just shoot them and don't even bother wasting the tax payers money. It is a sad situation.
