Because one or two people in the company, that really probably had nothing specifically to do with it, will take the wrap. The company, the machine, the monster, will survive and thrive while tossing a couple people to the mob for their bloodlusts. Such is the world of the immortal...

Sadly, you are probably right. I'm sure that Wal-Mart have the best attorneys that our money can buy them and they will find a loop hole somewhere.
Wal-Mart provide a service at a cheap cost and there's no way in hell that the system will take them out completely. (Which I dont foresee that even happening in this case.)

Maybe and hopefully this will be a wakeup call to not only Wal-Mart, but also to all chain stores to better train their employees during busy shopping periods, so that it doesnt happen again.
I'm surprised this hasn't happened before actually.

What sickens me is besides the fact of the guy getting stomped to the ground by the mob rush. Ok I can see that happening.

But the medics and people who were trying to help the dude were getting stomped by the conitinuing stampede of assholes!

WTF?!! They were more or less like: "Fuck that dude, I'm getting a Nintendo Wii before they're all gone."

That's a sad mindset to have.

The family of the victim is suing wal-mart. The company will just file it with the hundreds of lawsuits they get daily.

Sadly true. And I'll bet most of those are from from former employees or their family members. Lawsuits and fines to a big company, IMO, are just another business expense. And it wouldn't surprise me if they've even budgeted for things such as this.

They do. The Altoona Wal-Mart sold over $1 million this Black Friday. What do you honestly think they do with all that money? The heads get most of it, the workers are tossed a few scraps, and the rest,... Oh, I'm sure it's just waiting for a lawsuit
