He should have gone to his preliminary hearing wearing the mascot costume. Then every time the judge said something, he could put his paw behind his ear and do that "I can't hear you" thing he does when getting the crowd to cheer louder.
... and then the wheel fell off.

The young man told authorities upon his arrest that he had not been drinking that night but police officials have since reported that he was "lion."

Just saw this weeks episode of "sports soup" on VS channel...
A sports take off on E Channels "The Soup" in case you never saw it....
