Glenns Place Location

Post by REDillon »

Hey EVERYBODY!

I'm playing at Glenns' Place tonite in Claysburg. I'm coming from the armpit of Pennsylvania, Johnstown. Which is the best friggin way to go and is it ON 220 or is it off on 220? Mapquest and Google give 2 different "addresses." I is confused!

Could some one help a sista out?

It's on "old Route 220" (not I-99).

From Johnstown, probably the easiest way to get there: Take Route 22 over the mountain, take the I-99 South exit off 22, proceed south on I-99 to the Roaring Spring/East Freedom exit, take that exit and turn right at the traffic light. You'll then be headed south on old 220; proceed 6 miles to Claysburg, pass straight through the traffic light, and Glenn's is on your right after you cross the railroad track (about a half mile past the light).

You can also take Route 56 east to Cessna and then take Route I-99 north to Claysburg. That is how I go there from Johnstown.

I travel that route all the time, and it is the fastest, just watch the potential icy road conditions on Route 56 coming down the mountain.
