First Government Overthrown due to Economic Crisis

After days of rioting, the Icelandic government has called for new elections. So maybe there is hope for this country. Lets throw out all of the bums in the Washington, D.C. beltway and go back to a Constitutional government like in the beginning. Lets quit throwing a trillion dollars at failed banks and government run mortgage companies, all of these "bail out" actions by both Bush and Obama are un-Constitutional and we should revolt against these evil politicians.

Thomas Jefferson said that every generation needs a revolution. Now is our time.

I'll third that....this is the greatest post. We will never do what Iceland did...other countries esp those in Europe laugh at us for not seeming to know or care about our government. I know some people from Europe who easily know more about our politics and our government than we do. More than I do. And they know the important stuff, NOT who designed Michelle Obama's dress, nor do they care that Obama is friends with a former revolutionary from the sixties. They think we are intentionally distracted by our government, and distracted by our media who is only feeding us what we want to hear instead of what we should be aware of. That is ultimately our fault that we care more about the distractions than about the real issues. They truly think we are morons.

and i don't mean to sound like an asshole, but i don't wanna get arrested. how the hell can you organize an army of civilians to take on our own army of trained soldiers without... that's right, without using the internet, phones, letters, newspapers or anything else the government can see/read/get their hands on? thanks to the patriot act, the government can listen to your phone calls, read your emails, search your home without a warrant, bug your house without a warrant, search through your bank account and credit history, dig anything they want up on you, arrest you under suspicion of terrorism, send you to gitmo, hold you without trial, deny you a lawyer, and torture you. sorry comrade, but you can't try and overthrow mother america's government without the cia, fbi, homeland security, irs, and kgb flipping shit on you. good luck, it's too late.
