i didn't like bruce back in the day mainly because my mom liked him, then i liked him a little bit, now i don't like him again. it's like, i want to like him, but i just can't.

Springsteen did his job, got the crowd going, played his hits. The E street band sounded great, i was never a big fan but he didn't disappoint.

I thought Springsteen did a decent job but damn, he probably had to spend an hour or two with an oxygen tank after that! I especially liked his version of "Glory Days" - very clever. It also reminded me of the good old days.

I saw Springsteen in the 70's He is just timeless. Patty, Clearance and the rest of the band were tight. Does anyone know who the female guitarist next to Patty was???

Best 1/2 show I have seen for quite a while.

Awesome game!

Too bad about that great shot of Harrison hitting the guy while he was down. Just sort of sums up the steelers for me. Not a big fan of the black and gold, but great game!

That is what a Superbowl should be!

I also thought Springsteen was very good. Great energy, great new vinyl release.

Congrats for the steelers though on a tough fought victory. That last drive was amazing and put's Ben in the list of the truly elite. Now people in Pa have something to cheer about!

After the Prince half-time show, they are going to have a hard time topping it. That was amazing.

The Boss did not do it this year but like Bobby said, he did his job.

Not a fan of Springsteen at all but it was a good performance,at least Bruce didn't have a wardrobe malfunction.

But he did put his yam bags on the camera when he slide over. Ouch!

Dude, I love Clarence, he's awesome in my book, and he was good last night. I couldn't care less about the rest of them. Great game, but the halftime show was a disappointment.
They should have just put Prince back on...lol.

Best Superbowl game I've seen in years and the best half-time show since Prince!
Harrison would have probably got MVP, but for that unsportsman-like conduct penalty.
He should have wacked him again! We all cheered when we saw it on replay!

I totally agree about Harrison. He had a record play and blew the MVP with his behavior. Somehow, I bet he doesn't give a crap today about not getting the MVP.

I saw that as it happened and I laughed my ass off because he knew he slid too far and he looked embarrassed about it. After that he got up all winded and segued into Born to Run like it wasnt anybody's business.

I also laughed at how he was holding that Tele and wasnt even playing it, he was using it as a stage prop to lure in the cougars.

"Who died and made him the Boss?" I laugh everytime I think of that

That TD was something else, and one of several times everyone in my nephew's house was on their feet! During half time, by the third tune it was so noisy I never heard it and have no idea what it was, but everybody had quieted down by "Glory Days". I don't like all of his work, and my favorite Sprinsteen tunes are ones that don't get a lot of, or any airplay.

I laughed my ass off during the halftime show because we were making up new lyrics to "Glory Days"... retitled "Glory Holes". The part about a "young girls eye" put me on the floor laughing.

It had quieted down, but someone at my nephew's did the same thing, and made "Glory Days", "Glory Holes".
