Arod Admitts using roids ...
Arod admitted yesterday that he was using roids when he broke the record in the 2003 season. I don't know about you all, but I just lost all respect for the guy.
They are now saying that it is possible that Mark McGuire was using roids also. Wth?

Music Rocks!
I'd rather remember the glory days for me, the 70's, and Pirate baseball. They were all just drunk then.
Seriously, there were some really memorable players, and nobody looked like a bodybuilder, they were regular guys who could play baseball. A kid looked at them, and thought, "They're like guys I know, I could do that!" They made a decent living, but not 250 million ten-year contracts. What sucks worst about it is, these guys pretty much have to do that stuff, to keep their heads above water playing against other guys who do. The cat's out of the bag, it seems ruined to me. I'd rather see the Curve, or even a kid's game, which is far more entertaining than the bigs.--->JMS

Between the Yankees cheating every other game and every other player using steroids, I haven't liked baseball in general since before moving to PA. It will never catch me the way it did as a kid. It's rather ironic that I lost nearly all interest in baseball following the retirement of Cal Ripken Jr. It seems as though he was the last of the TRUE baseball players. All we have nowadays are liars and cheaters. I even think Pete Rose would be ashamed to play with any of them

Pete Rose> Any player in the game today.
