bush spent money like a liberal. this statement is true. your not making any sense. like a true obama supporter.

it's not just rush's story.... it's the truth. way to avoid the topic of the discussion. way to scrutinize the truth. you sir, are just another obama supporter. bush threw money down the whole, like a liberal, thus hurting the economy. bush ok'd the corporate bailouts. thus hurting the economy. and now your homeboy obama would enjoy spending 700 some billion dollars to "fix" the economy. how can you get 700 + billion dollars. billion. billion. friggin billion. dollars. and fix the economy? simple. borrow it from friggin china. like we do all our money. in case your un aware, obama has been in office for about a month, and the national debt is up a trillion dollars. trillion. more than billion. just to clarify and summarize. bush spent money to fix a lack of money. now obama wants to do the same. very nice. you sir, are a true obama supporter. that's how i feel. someone brings up a point and you argue the color of the grass.
just for your info the national debt is at $10,845,340,005,442.55
glad no one voted for ron paul. he coulda got us outta debt! vote mcbama!!! because socialism is right around the corner, commrade!
10,845,340,005,442.55
+ 747,000,000,000.00

11,592,340,005,442.55

hey i don't think i would be amazing in office... but i'd definatly spend less than bush did. same with obama. honestly, i don't want to be in office... i want ron paul in office. he had it right, man. no more big government. no more spending. let people take care of themselves, let the states run themselves. that's how this country was founded. the second you nationalize healthcare and the banking system in this country, it becomes that much more socialist. haven't we learned anything from mother russia, comrades?

So if I'm anti-Bush, I must be an Obama supporter? I know that's another logical fallacy, but I can't remember the title of it.
For Slacking, and anyone else who never heard of Aristotle, logical fallacies are flaws in logic when one is arguing a point.

Go back, and highlight the part where I said Obama's doing a better job. No? Okay, highlight the part where I said something positive about Obama.Still no, huh?
Okay, let me spell this out for ya, and I'll type as slowly as I can: I said that Bush handed the the gov't over to the far right, and as a result, Reagan-style conservatism is dead. Joe said that Bush isn't really conservative. That's simply not true, he was once the knight in shining armor for conservatives, the good, Christian man who championed conservative causes and fought for Big Business at every chance. In his first campaign, he ran on a platform of returning Washington to the morality and strength of the Reagan administration.
He is, in every sense of the word, a conservative. Spending? Which conservative president REDUCED the deficit while he was in office? Reagan increased the deficit more than any president before him.

Ok, quit arguing about stupid shit and check this out. The house ok's another $410 billion in spending.
http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20090226/ap_ ... s_spending
Also, Mr. Obama looks to spend another $634 billion on Healthcare for the uninsured. Of course he wants to tax the "rich" and distribute the wealth like the good socialist he is. The "rich" already pay a shit ton of taxes already, where's the incentive to earn money when the government wants to take it from you? Link provided.
http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20090226/ap_ ... ama_budget
You know folks, this is just the BEGINNING of his first term. It's not even fucking March yet, and look what he's doing already. Spend Spend Spend. The best part of all of this, he covers up what he's doing by having a speech the other night about how we are going to pull out of the recession a stronger country....what complete bullshit. He has no idea what the fuck he's doing. He's worse than Bush when it comes to spending, that's fucked up.

Here is the definition of fiscal conservatism on wikipedia. We all know you hate Bush like its your religion, but that does not make him a fiscal conservative, and that's the one that really counts. Reagan did all of the things in the definition except say NO to a democratic congress who spent $2 to every $1 taken in the treasury. Reagan was very flawed because he did not veto all those spending bills. But he lowered taxes and did not grow government.songsmith wrote:So if I'm anti-Bush, I must be an Obama supporter? Not to Johnny, just because you say Bush is a conservative does not make it so. There are very few fiscal conservatives left in the Republican Party right now.

I sit in the highest percentage tax bracket.. Those "rich" people can suck my balls.RobTheDrummer wrote:Also, Mr. Obama looks to spend another $634 billion on Healthcare for the uninsured. Edit: and by that I mean all money I don't take home. Total this year was 37.4% (not including state and local which I don't consider them a negative tax).
It sucks being responsible; No kids running around, no special days off work like those people with kids/having kids, no deductions...
Don't have a mortgage (paid off), no deductions there...
The Federal Tax data for 2006 just became available and the top 5% paid over 60% of all federal taxes. How much more can you squeeze this group? Remember, 72% of new jobs are from small businesses, and these are the people who own and start up new businesses. So lets punish this group and really stop new job growth. Unless your goal is to have everyone working for the government.
BTW, for the first time, the bottom 50% of taxpayers paid LESS than 3% of federal taxes.

When I think back to what it was like trying to live in that bottom 50%, I don't mind what small percentage they pay.
Bread still costs the same if I make $388,806 or <$31,987.
PS Lets say the average cost of bread is $2.
0.000005% of your income at $400000.
0.000070% of your income at $28000.
I think that makes bread 14X more expensive for the lower income person.

I like the way you think.
I'm kinda in the same boat... no kids, bought a house I could afford (almost paid off, 25 years ahead of time), ya get up, ya do your job, etc. As long as the bare necessities are within reach, I'll be okay, I'm not real worried for me. I'm more of a spectator in this, other than the hit my property value and retirement took, and those'll be back. This is America. We're the biggest market in the world because we're by far the most productive people in the world. You could start at zero, and there are enough smart people and hard-working people that we'd have all the wealth back in quick order.
Joe, you win man, I absolutely believe Obama is spending too much money, there's no argument for that, but you guys just pull me into these threads with the conservative media stuff. I listen to talk radio as much as you guys, but I listen with a skeptical ear. I suggest it.
These threads simply beg for response. I first clicked on this thread because I thought it was about fishing.
