This is on their MySpace, so I guess that it's official and I can spill the beans...

Congrats to Eric Wertz for stepping from behind the drum kit and landing the bass position in Rise Phoenix Rise. Rise Phoenix Rise does a lot of touring up and down the East Coast and has even played a gig at MTV's Spring Break. I've yet to catch one of their gigs, but I hear good things.

Eric's out of town but I told him of your well wishes and he was blown away. He loves playing and he loves traveling and meeting new people. Now he gets to do both at the same time, pretty cool.

And if breaking the grip of central PA's gravity meant playing bass instead of drums then bass it is!

Our bass player, Harry, is also a drummer. He played drums before picking up the bass.
