Senator Dodd's wife is director of AIG company.

No wonder Senator Christopher Dodd, (Dem. Mass) allowed the $200 million bonuses in the bailout bills to AIG. His wife is a director of an AIG owned business. He needed more graft money. (And I thought only capitalists had GREED)

I've ignored most of these little goings-on, just because some of the stuff
people come up with...just unbelievable.

His wife WAS an outside director of a company AIG held 20% stake in the
company (IPC). SHE was with the company from 2001-2004 (5 years ago)...
AIG sold its stake in 2006.

The rest of the "Dodd plan" has been debunked repeatedly already.

The "author" of article...a douche grasping.

I love the Bermuda angle to this (no pun). That is one of the places where corporations move their headquarters to avoid paying US corporate income tax.

+1

I find that borderline treasonous. Companies who wish to do business in the greatest juggernaut economy in the history of the world... should share in it's costs.--->JMS

Why is Senator Dodd sitting on the Senate committee that rules over a company where his wife is a director (and I don't care which type of director)?

Maybe his wife is the director because her husband is a Democrat scumbag who make sure directors of insurance companies in his state get millions in bonuses? Maybe that was the reason that Senator Dodd received the most money of AIG political donators?

The hyprocracy of the Democrats is world class.

This was called propaganda. :?: I wonder what the liberal poster would have called it if some republican did it?

Ask Phil Gramm or any of the several others who have been.

Can you provide the link where Phil Graham sat on a committee that had oversight over an industry where his wife was a director, and he let those businesses get bonuses with government bailout money. Thank you.
