I'm a tech savy guy, but for the life of me I can't figure out why you'd connect a power grid controlling computer to the internet.
I realize that its cheaper to interconnect over the internet than install a seperate dedicated circuit. But Dial-up should be WAY faster than is needed for grid control, or at least a VPN with properly large passwords if you must use the internet...
And people think its a great idea to put US voting systems on the internet....
I can't believe "Homeland Security" wasn't on top of it. Who the hell came up with the whole Homeland Security idea, anyway? Ohhhhhh.
