What band gear did you sell that you wish you still had?

For me, the one piece of band equipment I wish I still had is an early 70's Kustom 150 bass amp with the blue sparkle naughahyde cover I bought when I was 15 years old. I sold it to buy a bigger and more powerful amp but I always wanted to get that one back. The guy I sold it to had sold it many years ago and I have no idea what happened to it.

Old, tweed Fender Bassman. Too loud to play out, but was a great,
and worthwhile investment, amp.

As for usable live, and just great sounding, my favourite thing ever
has been my TubeWorks 922 Pre. Matter of fact, I have a perpetual
watch on EBay for them.

Not really up for buying another one right now...but mebbe some time.

Oh yeah! Fane Medusa 12" and an Alvarez Tele.

Everything, I wish I would have kept most of it! Here's what I've sold that I've owned:

1965 4 piece Slingerland champagne sparkle kit. Ouch

5 piece Pearl Prestige Session Select drum set.

4 Audix i5 Mics, 1 Beta 52, various cables for them.

A Zildjian 9.5 inch zil-bell, Sabian 22 inch China.

My old DW 13" snare with case.

Shure e5 in ear headphones I used as monitors.

They say to never sell your stuff! Well, they say right!

1987 Charvel Model 3
ADA MP-2 preamp

I think about them from every once in a while, but I'm gonna have a hard time finding another lefty Charvel. The ADA can be replaced more easily however.

I have alot of regrets, but these are the top 2

All of it...well, maybe not the Crate stuff(even if the 4x10 sealed cab sounded surprisingly good).

Believe it or not, I miss my old Peavey head the most. I think it was an '82 Mark 4. 2 channels, could combine. Independent 7 band eq you could assign to either or both channels. Switch/combine footswitch modded with a light to tell which channel you would return to after combine.

100 Watt 2X12 Traynor amp that belonged to Ed McGuire...

Had the same schematics as a Marshall JCM800 but sounded better.. I wanted to have the bragging rights of my first Marshall but never found another amp that smooth sounding......

Why did you get rid of the Echoplex and the 64 Les Paul?? There has to be a good reason, lol.
Pour me another one, cause I'll never find the silver lining in this cloud.

No you must be confused.. This one had obviously been played by a true musician...

Just bustin' yo balls Jeff... So you sold it to Ed huh? I must have bought it circa 1985ish.... Went to a punk rocker in Pittsburgh after that.. I think.. hehe..

1962 Strat hardtail. Sold it to Tom Johnson of Stillwater fame. I got what it was worth at the time, but now I hate myself.

Oh man. My whole life has been part of a tone quest. I occasionally miss some pieces of gear, but I really dig everything that I have at the moment.

late 70's Gibson Marauder with fretwork/setup by Queensryche's guitar tech (lowest action ever, took awhile to get used to)

No-name Les Paul copy, big heavy chunk of mahogany, the clean sound was almost 3-dimensional, it was so warm and complex

Peavey 30 watt 2x8 chorus practice amp, sounded amazingly sweet, and louder than you'd think

Green metalflake very early Kramer w/prototype Floyd... would be worth some $$$ now, I sold it because I didn't know anything about Floyds

My dad's guitar/banjo :cry: --->JMS
