Any of you guys see that DVD where the bass player breaks his bass over Howard, and he keeps singing like it never phased him? He's a frightening man.

I do not see anything interesting about this band at ll. "Alive or Just Breathing" was decent at best. They have managed to go downhill from there though.

I love Killswitch. End of Heartache is probably one of my favorite songs...ever.

Great band and when they do something melodic, no one can beat it. I wish he would sing 70% and scream 30%, though, instead of the opposite. I think it would open them up to a larger audience and get them the attention that they REALLY deserve.

Howard said that this album was the biggest pain in the ass to make...not sure why, but that is what he was quoted as saying to Sirius.

I'm a huge Killswitch engage fan. Always liked the song life to lifeless, plus many others. I agree with JD, I think they deserve more recognition then they get.

It's because Adam D. is a perfectionist. The whole band has stated many times they hate recording for this reason, but they love the finished product.

amazing, great musicians/ and musicianship but i wish they would not be so repetitive when writing songs. they could have wrote a song like "Reckoning" in their sleep. they don't have to blow up their style, but they could add a different angle here and there. they frustrate me like some other bands that i dig that seem like they're on thrust-repeat mode like Creed, Godsmack and (it pains me to say) Slayer.

I agree. Some of their songs sound very (too) similar.
Hatebreed are also guilty of this.
I'd say Godsmack are the worst of'em though. They plagiarize themselves. If that dude ended any of his lines with a word other than "away", I'd prolly have a heart attack.

I disagree i like hatebreed. Some songs are skeptical on the boring side but i like supremacy i thought that was a great album. I wasn't feeling the new one with the covers though but there were some good covers on there though.
