I saw Fat mike do that to Eric Melvin too.Mandmeisterx wrote:Any of you guys see that DVD where the bass player breaks his bass over Howard, and he keeps singing like it never phased him? He's a frightening man.

I love Killswitch. End of Heartache is probably one of my favorite songs...ever.
Great band and when they do something melodic, no one can beat it. I wish he would sing 70% and scream 30%, though, instead of the opposite. I think it would open them up to a larger audience and get them the attention that they REALLY deserve.

Howard said that this album was the biggest pain in the ass to make...not sure why, but that is what he was quoted as saying to Sirius.

It's because Adam D. is a perfectionist. The whole band has stated many times they hate recording for this reason, but they love the finished product.JayBird wrote:Howard said that this album was the biggest pain in the ass to make...not sure why, but that is what he was quoted as saying to Sirius.

amazing, great musicians/ and musicianship but i wish they would not be so repetitive when writing songs. they could have wrote a song like "Reckoning" in their sleep. they don't have to blow up their style, but they could add a different angle here and there. they frustrate me like some other bands that i dig that seem like they're on thrust-repeat mode like Creed, Godsmack and (it pains me to say) Slayer.

I agree. Some of their songs sound very (too) similar.Bloodsong wrote:amazing, great musicians/ and musicianship but i wish they would not be so repetitive when writing songs. they could have wrote a song like "Reckoning" in their sleep. they don't have to blow up their style, but they could add a different angle here and there. they frustrate me like some other bands that i dig that seem like they're on thrust-repeat mode like Creed, Godsmack and (it pains me to say) Slayer.
Hatebreed are also guilty of this.
I'd say Godsmack are the worst of'em though. They plagiarize themselves. If that dude ended any of his lines with a word other than "away", I'd prolly have a heart attack.
