Theft

Post by zman1200 »

Recently we had a 4' by 6' AMSOIL Banner stolen off our carport located at The Guitar Worx in Alverda, PA. It is black with the letters in red, white and blue. It's not just a banner, it is part of our livelyhood; it advertises that we carry this product. It is no different than stealing someone's guitar, cables, etc. One thing I've learned there is no honor among thieves. I have read posts in the past about items getting stolen, if anybody sees this banner and believe me it is big enough you can"t miss it, please let me know. There is a reward for the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible.

Thanks
Everyone at The Guitar Worx

Whats really bad about this is it has no use to anyone but you, so why would someone take it. This sounds like neighborhood kids that grew some balls...that or you pissed off another music store in the town. Hope you find it.
The script was written, and the villian was cast. The provocation needed, they will provide. They did it before, they'll do it again.

No, I don't think it was neighborhood kids. They have been hanging out here at night for over 13 years. We have 3 race tracks nearby. I believe it was a crime of opportunity. It would look good hanging on the back wall of a garage. And as far as kids being pissed off at me, we really haven't had any problems. but some people definitly have problems with themelves and like to place the blame on someone else instead of looking in the mirror and seeing the real problem in their life.

sorry I was having 2 conversations at once & I went a little overboard. every one complains about the kids in front of my shop at night. I dont care as long as they dont cause any trouble or litter. I am located in the middle of nowhere and there is no other local music store.

Is there a local racing website? I'd post there, usually there's at least one person with a grudge against the offenders, especially if they do dick-moves like stealing a banner. People suck sometimes.--->JMS

Make flyers and post them at all the racetracks. Offer a good enough reward, and I bet if that's the case someone will make a phone call. Racing isn't cheap...that reward could fix something on someone's car.
I'm thinkin zman's right...I know that area.

I am not sure, but it seems strange that you mentioned about the missing banner when I noticed Sunday evening that an AMSOIL banner was hanging in the area of I-Diehl Wheels near Alexandria. I am not saying that it is yours but I am not sure how long the banner has been there.
