Here is a picture of the stage full of equipment that might help you out with that question... Anymore equipment then this is an overkill. Also there is 12- 110 outlets and a 220 outlet right on stage and also a breaker box with empty slots right on stage. the bar can fit about 300 people.

What a place. The crowd either LOVES you, or HATES you. Word of advice: If you're not a scrapper, don't mess with anybody. If you are a scrapper, make sure your healthcare plan is current, because those boys fight on a level that makes UFC look like Romper Room. It may have calmed out recently, but keep your wits about you. Also, if you can't get laid there, you have real problems.
I'm just sayin'.
Oh yeah, tech stuff. The last I was there, it was a live room, but not too bad. The big room is basically rectangular, and the band plays in the center area, facing the center, with crowd on both ends. I'd say it's 30-40 feet from the stage to the mix site. There was thick wooden paneling in the back wall, which helps keep reflections from getting too nasty, and a good crowd helps soak it up, too... the room can actually sound pretty good with a lot of people.
Load-in is from the front of the building, not far away, and no steps, take a dolly. Don't set your stacks on the stage, it rattles the mic stands which sets up a low feedback that's hard to notch out without killing the drum sound... the concrete floor works just fine.
Watch your speed in Mt Union. I heard Dave Nagle got popped doing 27 in a 25 once. I've been stopped several times by the local boys, and I drive like an old woman. There's a Sheetz in town for post-gig gas and munchies, and remember to keep your doors locked when you're not at your car.
Overall, The Roadhouse has a lot of what you'd see in the Patrick Swayze movie, but nobody's blown anything up, yet. Lotta wild, wild memories there, all the veteran musicians have stories galore, but some of them are good!--->JMS

Songsmith when was the last time you were there brother? Just wondering because there has been no fighting at all at the Roadhouse since Gary Johnson started managing the place and reopened it in mid july. Gary keeps things in order and has a "One strike and your out" policy about the fighting. The whole building was remodeled a couple years ago and is without a doubt the nicest bar in Mount Union and quite possibly all of Huntingdon County when it comes to bars where bands can play.
But yea.... back when it was the "Hill Valley Hotel" I saw ALOT of bloody fights there. It just isn't the same place anymore.
The fans still can be picky but its pretty easy to figure out what they want to see and hear.

According to the pic posted, it still looks the same to me. Also, it's been closed down... what, maybe 5 times? Believe me, I will go there again, because I'm a local, but Mt Union really hasn't changed. If they have bands, it draws the same crowd. Don't get me wrong, it's fun as hell, and all musicians should play that audience, but it is what it is.
I'd be disappointed if it wasn't.
