how to cope with frustration of not being able to play out?

Post by xero380 »

How does everyone go about with wanting really bad to get back into the scene and play out but can't find the last piece to the puzzle to fulfill the band?

For example our situation, been practicing for months and just recently got enough material covered to start doing our own shows playing out again and then all of a sudden lead singer got called back to work at JLG with a government contract and they told him not to plan anything on weekends that he can't get out of because of the possibility of alot of overtime. So now we're back to where we started and it's very very frustrating because we just can't find anyone at all. Keep in mind also trying to not just be desperate at the same time and find someone that also fits the style of the band as well. But most importantly just wondering how everyone else deals with this frustration?

Ya I can relate to that LOL. I just got screwed over by all my band mates so I'm just taking the time and putting the right pieces back together again. Ya it sucks and it's very nerve racking atleast for me it is. I like to be out there playing. Take your time and search for the right singer. There out there.
