I got this, listened to it and have to say that I love it. I still say they are the best band out of seattle ..

I'm going to give it a:

-better than Death Magnetic

It's not bad. Does anyone else think that some of the parts where William Duvall sings by himself sound oddly reminiscent of Sebastian Bach?

Oooh. Geez. Hope I can get that thought out of the head before listening.
Don't want to sully it with that.

too much

I like it but I think it tries to sound too much like Layne. I mean does this guy have an identity or is he a Layne clone?

The music is pure AIC and Jerry Cantrell is on his game but I will stick with Dirt.

As far as Seattle bands I will also stick with Andrew and MotherLoveBone. Saw them once but was way too high to appreciate it. Still love Pearl Jam though, Stone Gossard is the man...

^^ I like MLB as well. If it wasn't for them you wouldn't have pearl jam .. They were a good band and andrew was awesome. Stardog Champion is a cd that I listen to frequently .. .

`edit - To say my favorite song off this new AIC cd so far would be Our Decision" ....

+1 for Soundgarden.

Matt Cameron laid some mean wicked grooves on those CDs. Chris Cornell is one of my favorite singers from that era. Love me some AIC too.
Steve is the name, drummin is my game.

No doubt here that Soundgarden is great as well. I always like Chris Cornell and feel that he is some what underrated.

Do any of you remember that movie that was made in the early 90's about the grunge bands in seattle? I can't remember the name of it, but soundgarden, eddie vedder and AIC were in it ... I wish I could remember the name of it - No it wasn't waynes world either.. Hmmm ..

Found it - It is called Hype! -> http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0116589/

I will have to try and find it here. It was a cool movie ..

I haven't seen it in years, but I remember a scene where Chris Cornell goes into an elevator and I think Eddie Vedder was in also? ..
