I'm not Rob, but......it's not about how you start, it's how you finish. I remember bumming out last year after Pittsburgh got blown out by Philly and Ben was sacked 7 times. We'll see where we're at in January.

I have to agree with CC, but tonight's performance was just sad.

I am completely against a "Pass Interference" call against the Offense. That to me is just silly.

If they lose against the Browns, then we have to worry. It will all change when Troy comes back ...

their secondary is weaker this year even with troy there. before this injury troy was out 8 total games...out of those 8 the steelers won 6. I think their age is catching up on them because the defense seems to be giving up way too many plays towards the end of the game you didnt see before.
The script was written, and the villian was cast. The provocation needed, they will provide. They did it before, they'll do it again.

Hmmm...interesting point. I'm not a big Ike Taylor fan, hands of stone and he seems to commit alot of dumb unsportsmanlike conduct penalties. Last week a deflected pass bounced off of his foot when he could have made more of an effort and probably intercepted it...if he could catch it. I think Polamalu would've had that one. Troy's return will help, hopefully they'll start to gel and make plays as the year progresses.

Well,... They cheated their way through the end of last season. Karma happens when you least expect it

If John Madden would come out with his 2009 all-star defensive team, it would probably look something like this:

DE-Troy Polamalu
DT-Troy Polamalu
DT-Troy Polamalu
DE-Troy Polamalu
OLB-Troy Polamalu
ILB-Troy Polamalu
OLB-Troy Polamalu
DB-Troy Polamalu
DB-Troy Polamalu
SS-Troy Polamalu
FS-Troy Polamalu
...Oh, the freedom of the day that yielded to no rule or time...

I think the Steelers looked great, we put points on the board the first three drives. Big Ben was 22 of 31 for 276 yards, including a 39-yard touchdown pass to Willie Parker and a 1-yard scoring sneak. We trounced them but we lost in last few minutes. Very weird game, just like with Da Bears.

Unfortunate we are now starting 1-2 due to those last two flaky games, but we are still the WORLD CHAMPIONS. Make no mistake of that!

I see us winning every game here on out!

Hear Hear to that!!!!!
Mike Wallace is the man!!!!!!!

Sweed is a waste of a draft pick,he has speed but can't hold onto the ball
I just wonder how many more times are they going to let him play,he sucks.
If I was Ben I wouldn't even look his way at the check down because you know he's not going to catch it.
In last nights game,he was wide open. He had the ball in his chest and when he fell,he left it go. BULLSHIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Momentum killer.

Wallace is the man!!!!!!!!!!!!

I seriously think the Steelers are going to lose both games against Baltimore and also I look for either the Raiders or Vikings and possbily both to beat the Steelers this year.

i hate to say it but the ravens look awesome right now. the raiders won't beat the steelers. the vikings could (favre will need another 4th quarter comeback though)

i cant judge baltimore yet, the only team they played was the chargers and that came down to the wire. they have to prove them selves against New England this week.

Polamalu started running Wednesday and may play against the Bolts. We need a win this game, and I think we'll get it!
