O.k .. I am not even going to start to rant about this one. Only to say that his world apology tour of blaming the US for everything including the blizzards in Mexico must have worked.

I'm as surprised as anyone. Perhaps (it must be) a down payment for his world agenda.

In any case, I can't wait to listen to Limbaugh today.

I remember Limbaugh going off on Carter. "Who is this Nobel? He did what ? Invented TNT ? The man basically invented the bomb and his invention kills millions and they name a peace prize after him ? " And his rant continued.

The inept Limbaugh either didn't know (doubtful - he is smart) or didn't want his listeners to know (likely) that Nobel wanted his invention to be used for construction and other peaceful, positive things. He felt deeply troubled that it was used to kill. So the Peace Prize began, honoring those who worked for peace, not war.

I don't view Glenn Becks opinion completely - I view my own opinion. Just because I don't agree with all your cognate points of views doesn't make me believe, or follow, the views of another. My main point is that I do not think that it is right to give a Pres who did nothing to convey peace a honor this high. What has he done to get this? I heard one comment this morning following President Obama's address about the Nobel Prize, speculating that his receiving the Nobel Prize was a form of backlash against the previous administration. Since the Nobel selection committee is based in Europe, the award may be recognition (and reward) of the current administration's new attitude toward international policy.
