National sales tax - Who is for it?
There is talk about the posibility of a national sales tax or vat tax coming into existance. Who is for this and why?
I am for it - The main reason being that it can replace the income tax and also have it where "Everybody" is paying something towards it. It would be posible to bring in more money to help fund other things, like health care for example. Something like this would make me more keen to except some of the, well, maybe, some of the lefts ideas..

That's a good idea ! We do need to do a benefit for Rockpage soon too.bassist4life2004 wrote:ron should charge a "New politics thread" tax on rockpage, i wonder if it would slice out the bullshit. Im all for it
But I propose that anyone who contributes / posts in a political thread send a donation of $10.00 to Ron !
Ron does put up the cash to make Rockpage available.
Ron, what address should we send it to ?

I am thinking $10 a year as a voluntary donation to join in Rockpage political discussions. Perhaps even $20.00. [Not per pop.onegunguitar wrote:Yea,at $10 a pop and as much political crap is on here,Ron would be a rich man![]()

Don't forget, free speech does not pertain to Rockpage. It is privately owned and can be properly censored at the owner's discretion.

lucky for us Ron let's us pretty much say what we want as long as we're not causing a bunch of problems. compared to other forums i'm on, this place got nothing (in terms of limiting what you can talk about) and i like it that way. when's the RP jam?
Can you identify a genital wart?
