that is so awesome hope all the motel 6's do it. my fiancee's band travels often and it sucks when you are away from home and have to spend a lot of money to find a decent place to stay!

That would be TRULY AWESOME if they could work it out! Course, with the way bands tour, I can almost see it where, on any given night, the entire Motel 6 would be full of bands, and won't be able to fit other guests in... That would rather suck. But in the mean time, that is an AWESOME promotion!!!

well i think the bands have to be somewhat of a national touring act. i truly doubt they will let any band stay for free even with proof there is a show. their idea is to get their name on a tour promo flyer so they can use it as advertising as well as a tax write off. This will though bring a lot of acts around because this will make touring affordable for a lot of national acts that aren't arena sell out bands.

Right now you have to be a part of a certain promotional group. They hope to expand it but I imagine it would all be handled via promoters. Still find it to be a cool offering. I wish we had a motel for bands and even our out of town guests to stay at. I have a camper out back
