I speculated our soldiers hate their enemy. Is that a reasonable deduction Joe? He had to listen to that over and over. Even if they didn't use the name Muslim, he knows who the enemy is.

[I'm not saying all Muslims are our enemy, but the radical segment that wants to eradicate all non Muslims is our enemy.]

And I further speculated that he felt socially alienated because of this. I know enough to know that people who go "postal" often feel alienated for social reasons from the rest of society.

Edit: None of my statements are excuses for the murderer.
So, how does this become a reason for murder? Because you think that he heard soldiers hate their enemy, he kills 13 people? That is a reason?

Not you best work Bill.

ineverspeculatedjoe,

Not at all. The reason wontletitgojoe, is the alienation he felt because of it. But I already said that, didn't I ? I don't know if the alienation was real or imagined, but follow the case Joe, and when it comes out that I'm right or wrong , please feel free to call me on it.

Since it is speculation on my part, as was obvious to anyone who read the post, I don't mind at all if I'm proved wrong.

Really Joe ? You never speculated on Rockpage ? Huh...

Interesting. I just heard a guy (don't know what his doctorate is in) .

He was saying that when we fought in Vietnam the enemy was called "gooks" and in Iraq and Afghanistan they're called "hajjis". And when the soldiers come back from war (this guy interviewed hundreds of them) their stories of atrocity and their hatred for hajj is intense. Huh...go figure.

Now all these guys have a reason to murder 13 people, according to Bill's speculation.

keeptryingjoe,

They were not socially alienated. I'm sorry if the complete picture is too much for you to comprehend.

However I can guess why you are bothered with my reasoning. (ooo, I know what they're thinking). The Muslims have infiltrated our armed forces. That's right wing speculation. But, that could be right too.

Many people might have a reason to go postal. However they know a reason is not an excuse. Only a wacko follows through. That's NOT a insanity defence. Even a wacko knows right from wrong.

Still no excuses for the murderer from me.

Make an attempt to follow along idon'tgetitjoe. The Muslim killer was listening to this hatred day after day. That's the (should have been obvious) implication of this post. And like Rush says, "Just as I predicted ladies and gentleman".

So I speculated correctly what the soldiers were thinking and saying. Wasn't really that hard. It was common sense.

And? How does this lead to a reason to murder?

How on earth do you figure that you speculated correctly? Were you there with this Major and the soldiers in their psychiatric sessions? How can you say he listened to your imagined hatred day after imagined day? Cannot imagine you being any more wrong on this. You are patting yourself on your back for something you have absolutely no proof of. cantbemorewrongHawk. (see this is not very funny, is it)

Yes it is. I'm laughing out loud. I thought it was clever rather than insulting. Unlike the old "comrade Hawk".

But yeah, can'tbemorewrongHawk is funny. Seriously...it is. You got me.

I speculated. I am sorry if it bothers you.

OK, as long as joe is in charge, no one is allowed to speculate ! You have now been warned!
That's pretty much the long and short of it. The one thing the far right ALWAYS assumes is the authority. There is no room for any thought not Fox-approved, and to doubt them is to be... wrong.
Listen to Joe's heroes, the talkshow hosts. Only local shows even have opposing viewpoints at all, and when you voice that opposing view, they will suddenly run out of time. National blah-blahs don't even take calls unless the caller is going to praise the host and his "awesome work." I call in locally all the time, and it's me making a point, a sudden commercial break, then the same ten callers as always reiterating what they heard on Rush that day. I like them because they always say, "That last caller makes me SICK!"
I make them sick. Apparently, the truth doesn't just hurt, it makes one nauseous as well. J/K, I don't pretend to own the truth the way the extremists do. They wouldn't know the truth if it bit them on their soft Caucasian ass.--->JMS

Funny, you make me sick too. And I pity your slave mentality and hatred of anything non socialistic.

Hmm... Hawk and Joe... Do you 2 at least agree that what this guy did was wrong? (A simple Yes or No will suffice to answer this  )

I understand Hawk's PoV though... "Victim turns vicious" perspective (ala Columbine). Not sure if this guy is an example of this, but it's possible. And if the case is as such, there is a great deal wrong that a man who's supposed to be helping so many problems snapped from his own... But that is more human (with much less of the same degree, obviously) than most realize. We all go off after taking so much. We all have our reasons for everything... Even if the motive isn't a worthy excuse

I wish all the best from those who have to pick up the pieces from such a situation

I said several times, "There are no excuses for this murderer". That would be a yes.

Joe's answer is yes as well. (Speculation on my part again).

Joe was just in the mood for some verbal jousting, that's all. (More speculation).

Couldn't answer in one word.

Joe's response (speculative), "Don't put words in my mouth, I can answer for myself".

Sorry Joe, I thought you were out getting something for your nausea.

I don't get it. You will say any nasty thing about Obama or anyone who supports him but you won't speak your mind on this matter for fear of insulting some Goddamn Muslims?
