Its a shame i have only heard of these guys for two weeks and they've been around for 9 years. These guys are progressive metal great stuff the keyboards are sweet as well as the riffs. The vocals in my opinion are opera melodic very high range. If you haven't heard of them you have to give them a listen!
The guitar playing is just too wanky for my tastes. What makes technical guitarists like Petrucci, Satriani, Vai, Gilbert, and Beck so great to me is that they also have a great ear for melody. The soloing, while technically on the mark, just didn't seem to have any melodic motiff to it on the tune I listened to.
Other than that, I really dug it. I really, really liked the vocalist's voice and stage presence. And yeah, the keyboard work is really awesome!
