Thanks for all the support guys!!! This full time vocal thing is a new endeavor for me but it's well worth it I believe. I joined up with these guys just to be a bass player(which I dig alot) but ended up behind the mic as well. I gotta say, hearing yourself on a recording for the first time is a little scary, haha!!!! All in all we are having fun with this project and that's what's important. It's pretty crazy because our drummer,Chris,is actually a bass/guitar player and has only been drumming a very short time. Nathan and Roman are the only ones that are playing the instruments that they started with. I would like to thank Keith for doing our demo,we feel it turned out fantastic and we didn't have a lot of time and money in it-get ahold of him to do your recordings!!!

The script was written, and the villian was cast. The provocation needed, they will provide. They did it before, they'll do it again.

That is some good shizzle! The underproduced vocal really does give it that 1987 thrash sound. Normally, I don't care for recorded vocals without reverb, but in this case, it keeps it authentic, IMO.
"He's the electric horseman, you better back off!" - old sKool making a reference to the culturally relevant 1979 film.

There is reverb on the vocal track, its just not soaked in 'verb. Its very minimal. For that style of music, its not needed. Unless thats the desired effect they would want on the vox. I prefer to use more reverb on more open vocals not metal style. Like... rock vox or something like that would be 'verbed out. Personal preference i guess. Even with the predelay set high, it still can clutter a metal vocal and make it sound awkward. Thats just what Ive found out during my time of learning and producing....but wtf do I know?
Im no pro.
Im glad people enjoyed their music. Its always great when someone likes what youre doing. I dig VOC, thats for sure. I love thrashy shit. Lots of energy.
This is the last band ive worked with since my current situation. Not sure when there will be another...under the FDA name. There is something on the horizon that I havent publicly spoken about yet, and hopefully will be able to make the official announcement soon. SHHHHHHH.
Anyway...metal up your ass, gents.

That shit is awesome. Cool to hear you playin' bass as well as singing. I hate to compare, because it runs the risk of offending, but In some spots the vocal reminds me of some To Mega Therion era Celtic Frost (especially in "Echoes of War"), which IMO is fantastic. All it needs are a few well placed "ooughs". keep it up guys!

you guys sounded awesome at the benefit yesterday, can't wait to hear more. The Voodoo sounded sweet Roman, definitely a whole other beast with the re-tubing. Scott, you seemed like you've been playing bass and doing vox for years...you just need a couple moles on yer mug. LMFAO! Move over Lemmy here comes Bushy!
