New Year Resolutions

Post by Hawk »

It's time to start thinking about your New Year resolution.

On a personal level for me:
Exercise regularly.

On a musical level:
Delve deeper into the Blues genre.
Work on my dynamics.

Personal Level - Learn to stay confident in myself.

Music Level - a few things

1. Listen/study as much Blues Material as I can.
2. Learn lead licks and know how to use them properly.
3. Be able to play without relying on a second guitar player. Confidence is what I need in that department….
4. Jam with as many people as possible.
5. and most importantly, find a blues band to play in.

lol!
The script was written, and the villian was cast. The provocation needed, they will provide. They did it before, they'll do it again.

WORD. It was a stressful summer, I was super-busy painting houses, and had little time to get out, and when I did, it wasn't up to par, it was such a wet early summer.

On a musical level: Stop telling myself that I'll write something down when I get home. I always forget it by then, and it's either gone, or changed. I have little hooks and lyric lines written down all over the place, too. I have a cellphone voice-recorder, I should just use that.
I need to play harmonica more, too.--->JMS
