Bass sweeping

Cant anybody sweep on bass? I'm currently trying to learn just wondering if anybody on here has conquered this yet(using fingers).

Check out Skitzo by Adam Nitti. The opening passage is sweeped.

From what I understand, sweeping on bass is a bit different than guitar and involves a series of plucks, fretting hand taps, and thumb technique.

yah it does its not very easy lol didn't know if anybody on here is at that level yet wanna learn b/c sweeping on bass would sound sick in a mix.

Do a YouTube search for Franck Hermanny. You can find a few videos of his sweeping. I think he has an instructional dvd set out also.
