Mike Portnoy in Avenged Sevenfold

I disagree, I think Portnoy will be right at home with Avenged. He's a true heavy rocker at heart, and DT has been going a bit more heavy lately...He's going to have a blast! Portnoy has a blast playing Beatles tunes as well, so I really think this is a good thing.

I have no doubt in his playing ability, far from it.

I just fear if he writes anything, he'd best keep in mind he's writing for another drummer, so it can be an awesome drum beat, but it better not require a kit the size of Aldo's stage!
