The 25th Annual Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony from the Waldorf Astoria Hotel, New York City - watch live on Fuse TV Network

ABBA, Genesis, Jimmy Cliff, The Hollies and The Stooges will be inducted as performers at the 2010 Induction Ceremony. Also being inducted as individual recipients of the Ahmet Ertegun Award will be David Geffen and songwriters Barry Mann, Cynthia Weil, Elle Greenwich, Jeff Barry, Jesse Stone, Mort Shuman and Otis Blackwell.

Once again, they diss Rush. I do like a couple of them though. I don't think they will ever put Rush in. Unless one of them dies; then it will be a sympathy induction.

I was just looking at all of the inductees and was rather baffled. I saw some people/groups that I would not consider rock and roll listed. No offense against Bonnie Raitt, but she had maybe 1-2 songs that were popular. So yeah, where is Rush? They have had more of an influence than Bonnie Raitt, not slamming her ablility to play a mean slide. I think I even saw Bill Monroe and the Texas Playboys on that list...they are bluegrass (which I do like too). Oh well, look at the Grammy's when frickin' Jethro Dull (I misspelled it intentionally) beat out Metallica for the heavy metal category, what a joke.
