The dribblin glass is always a good one. The whoopie cushion under the couch. The fake vomit trick over the desk always works. Exploding cigarette or cigar.
I hated this one - the rubber rat in the desk or closet. Scared the bejesus outta me.
The loosing of parts to a chair at someone's desk
There are tons

One of my all-time favorites happened during my early broadcasting years at WFBG. I used string caps (the ones that explode when you pull the strings) and "mined" the studios and front office. Sean McKay went to pull his laugh cart off the shelf and *BANG!* One of front-office sales women reportedly almost pissed herself when she opened her desk drawer and one went off (station owner Ed Giller was in the room at the time).
Speaking of Sean McKay, some of his best on-air pranks happened on April Fool's Day. I think that was when he did the infamous "phone company cleaning out the phone lines with air hoses" prank, where he told listeners the local phone company was going to run high-pressure air hoses into their phone lines to clean out the dust, and that listeners needed to place baggies on their phone receivers and tie them in place with rubber bands so the dust didn't blow out into their homes. Some folks actually believed it, and called Sean to ask how to put the baggies on their phones!
Also on April Fool's Day one year, Sean told listeners that the Altoona school district wasn't serving lunch that day, and that everybody had to brown bag. Parents suddenly had to bag up lunch for their kids, only to find out later the cafeterias were open and serving food.

this is a good one i was doing today. I was sending people texts today telling them that my cell phone is getting some bad reception at work, but i really have a situation i need to talk to them about. So i told them to call my "work" number. Which i sent them this number 973-409-3341. Go ahead and call it if you have long distance(just in case) its pretty amusing.

Hey Pat!
Remember that time we plastic wrapped Wayne's car?
His dad came out the next day and said "Is it fresh?"
Remember that other time we shot part poppers all
over his car in the rain and then followed him to Best
Buy just so we could laugh at him?
Those were the good old days........

Via Con Dios, Vomitar.
i think the funniest part of plastic wrapping waynes car was when we were buying the plastic wrap at walmart. The old dude was like "this is a good brand." then when we told him what we needed it for he didn't even think about it and said "well then you want this, you get more feet for the cheapest amount."Chuxema wrote:Hey Pat!

This one from several years ago...
The ex (Zappa) collected stacks and stacks of TV Guides because they would be "worth something someday". All the old TV guides in the attic was just annoying. I had a guy at work call him and say that he knew me from work, and I had mentioned the TV guides to him, and he is a collector. He asked several questions about them, then said, judging by what you have said, I would be willing to offer you AT LEAST $500.00. Could you send them in to work with your wife so I can take a look at them. I came home and there he was carrying them all down from the attic. He said "AND YOU THOUGHT THEY WOULDN'T BE WORTH ANYTHING". I had to stop it after the first load because I felt bad. Classic... (he's still mad so don't say anything to him. SO worth it.)

Sean Mckay did do some wild shit. I don't think it was April Fools but listeners continuously called in to hear Michael Jacksons " Beat It " . Sean was sick of it so that's all he played the rest of the show. Classic.

for april fools, i kicked my buddy in the balls. He said "Whats funny about that??" after it was over. I still was laughin. It was funny. Not like Farley funny, or watching Rida Rudna take an hour to do 5 minutes of standup-funny, but someone was a fool =)
Laugh if you want to, really is kinda funny, 'cause the world is a car and you're the crash test dummy.
