Music Trivia - Drummers ...

King Crimson and Yes, both great bands. They have something in common; they both had the same drummer - Can you tell me what drummer played for King Crimson and Yes?

That'd be MR. Bill Bruford. Also toured with Genesis for a stint in the early 70s.

Bruford was an awesome Drummer for Yes. I prefer Alan White but Bruford was great!

Bill Bruford is one of my favorite drummers from that progressive era. I got to see Bruford and White both playing drums with Yes at the same time. Several times, Yes has toured with both drummers.

Bruford's 70s supergroup, U.K., is a great progressive band with John Wetton on bass and vocals (King Crimson and eventually Asia and others), Eddie Jobson on keyboards and violin (Roxy Music, Frank Zappa, etc.), and Allan Holdsworth on guitar (Soft Machine, Gong, and more)
