I can tell Stevie Ray Vaughn got some influence from Mr Walker.

Edit: I just found a video where SRV talks about T-Bone Walker, haha.

Also...just found some Albert King stuff..Kick ass too! Another SRV influence.

T Bone

Post by Blue Reality »

T Bone invented what we call electric blues guitar. He emerges on recording with a unique style that is quoted verbatim today. Ever wonder where Chuck Berry got his licks? Listen to Strollin with Bones. Chuck ripped T-Bone blind.... He was a brilliant and amazing musician that never gets the cred he deserves.

He shows up in the late 40's to early 50's way ahead of his time. IMO all of electric rock guitar gets traced back to him. Even more than Les Paul or Charlie Christian. Man was a monster musician.......
